MOLDED PLASTIC car emblems and product badges are a bit different. They are made for indoor applications. Some things you'll see made with MOLDED PLASTIC emblems are toolboxes, guitar amps, interior automotive use, childrens toys, clothing.. this list goes on. You see these emblems are quite a few products. These emblems are molded in plastic, and then have the details raised and hot stamped (in foil or standard) to give them color.
The thickness of chrome plated custom car emblems and injection molded product badging can vary. By default the thickness will be about .125" (1/8 inch) thick. However by special request this can be slightly modified (+/- ~.03").
We can also offer thicker emblems as well and have produced many for clients at their request and design, the only thing to remember is that the tooling and per unit cost will go with up to do so.
All Chrome Plated and Plastic Molded Custom Car Emblems & Product Badges come with a single strip of adhesive by default. However we recommend to all clients to opt for Full coverage (die cut) ahdesive. There is a bit of extra cost for this ($.20-$.37 per unit) but it is well worth it for the strength it provides.
License plate frames do not come with adhesive.
There are many times where a client may have a special request for their custom car emblems or product badging that are a bit outside the norm, or may see other options on OEM vehicle emblems that they'd like to replicate with their emblems. This is Great!! We'd love to help.
We have a number of special request options available, such as custom material inserts (reverse printed lexan, acylic, and reflective material) however on that same note, please remember that there are limitations with all things.
